Naane Varuven, one of Tamil star Dhanush's most anticipated flicks, is getting ready for a worldwide release. Dhanush's brother Selvaraghavan directed the film, which reunites them after "Mayakkam Enna."

Meanwhile, Allu Arvind's Geetha Arts Production will release the Telugu version of the film throughout the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It will clash with Mani Ratnam's mega-hit "Ponniyin Selvan: I," which Dil Raju will release in Telugu states on September 30.

The fans have pinned high hopes on this mega biggie that is expected to take a solid opening at the box office. That being said, an exciting development on the release of Naane Varuvean has been known.

Leading film producer Allu Aravind has acquired the Telugu distribution rights to Naane Varuvean, which he will present under his Geetha Arts banner. The film will be released in Telugu as Nene Vasthunnaa. With a well-known producer on board, the film will reach a larger audience in both Telugu states. And, after Ghajini, this is the second film to be released under the Geetha Arts banner in a long time.

The film, produced by V Creations, will star Dhanush as a cowboy who will play dual roles, one as a protagonist and the other as an antagonist. It also stars Elli AvrRam as the female lead, as well as Selvaraghavan, Prabhu, Yogi Babu, and Indhuja Ravichandran in supporting roles.
