Trinamool is the 7th national party

NEW DELHI: Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress is going to be extended as the national party by the Election Commission. She recently won two consecutive assembly polls in West Bengal and extending Trinamool into a national party is the icing on the cake.According to the sources of the poll panel, Trinamool congress satisfied the condition of having been recognized as a party of the state in four states or more. Benerjee’s party is recognized in West Bengal, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur. India is going to have seven national parties from now i.e., BJP, congress, BSP, CPM, CPI, NCP and All India Trinamool Congress.
