When one talks of Fashion Designing Institutes in India, NIFT is one of the names that are in the list. But one more Institute that is equally generating ingenious designers is none other than Hamstech Institute of Fashion Designing. This Institute has designers with totally new ideas and creative blueprints. Recently, the students of Hamstech organized a fashion show in the city. MD of the Institute successfully managed to get Bigshots as the judges. The students were more than excited that their outfits were to be judged by actress Hema Malini, actor Vikram and internationally known designer Rocky S and Neeta Lulla. The event on whole rocked with new attire on the ramp. Is NIFT listening? Buck up!

Alumni are fun. We all always look forward to meeting our friends from college and school. Though when studying there, we waited for the day when we would come out; but today we die to get back to our student days. ISB had their alumni meeting recently in the city with ex-students coming from all over the world. It was a two-day fest with games and food stalls to entertain the crowd. Also, local DJ Kanna rocked the gathering with his enthralling music. An informal dinner with the honourable teachers reminded the students of their naughty days. All the students were nostalgically heard saying, “School and college days are the golden days of our lives”. Well, I too agree to that note.

Salman Khan’s sister-in-law, Seema Khan is in the city to display her latest collection of fabrics. Known for her elegant and sexy designs in other metros of the country, she plans to create a full-fledged market in Hyderabad too. Her collection is already sold in selected outlets of the city. On 14th December, she plans to officially launch her collection in the city. From the celebrity list, she does clothes regularly for Malaika Arora Khan. Gauri Khan and Katrina Kaif.
