After Hyderabad’s 10K Run, it is the turn of Vizag, the next best place to Hyderabad. It was an 8K Run with 20,000 people running on the road. Nearly, half of the city participated in the event. Badminton champion Gopichand inaugurated the marathon that was organized by the youth wing of the World Telugu Federation. Actors like Sai Kumar, Taraka Ratna and many senior government officials were a part of Run. It was the first of its kind in Vizag. The number of people participated looks like this kind of Runs will be conducted every year from now.

The hero of the Second World War, Sir Winston Churchill found the love of his life in the city of pearls. This romantic tale of Churchill came to be known when city born American scholar Omar Khalidi released his book recently, titled ‘The British Residency in Hyderabad: An outpost of the Raj’. As it is mentioned in the book, the heroine, Pamela Plowden went fida over the hero after he won a Polo match. It all happened in a very filmi style. On the 14th of December was Rohit Reddy’s birthday. Celebrating it not very grandly, Rohit hosted his two special guests from Mumbai that is, Queenie Dhody and Seema Khan very elegantly. The two were in town to launch their jewellery and fabric collection respectively in Hyderabad. Seema Khan loved the city and was heard saying that is better than Delhi and its crowd. Now Seema be careful since you have to go back to Delhi and delhites will not actually like what you said.
