| Sania Junior Emerging |
|
Inspired by the teen Tennis sensation
Sania Mirza and with loads of determination to make it big is another
upcoming Tennis star Prerana Mythri from our very own Hyderabad.
This 14-year-old girl is the first youngest-ever Indian to make
it in the WTA Rankings at the age of 14. Her goal is to climb the
World Rankings ladder like Sania. Initially, she fell in love with
the sport when she saw her brother enjoying the same in her childhood.
It slowly became a hobby and now is passion to her. Prerana’s
next stride is ITF Juniors (under-18) in Delhi next week. On her
future prospects, she plans to play in the Junior Grand Slams with
the support from the state government and corporate groups taking
care of the expenditure. Already making waves in the sports arena,
we wish this ambitious girl all the very best.

| Woman All Over the Fruity Cake |
With
Christmas coming in the next week, everywhere it is cakes and
chocolates filling the palettes of the people. Youngsters are
enjoying chocolate with their neck deep in it and on the other
hand the beautiful ladies of Hyderabad are having cake-mixing
parties. Yes! This is the new trend. With most of the pretty women
of the Page 3 circuit in aprons and chef avataar, the cake that
will be made will surely taste yummy. The cake made does not belong
to the diet-conscious category; it is full of dry fruits and fresh
ones too. It is the creamy and the fruity cake. As the saying
goes “Too many cooks spoil a curry”. This cake-mixing
party proves this wrong. “One more piece”, said everyone
after taking a bite of the scrumptious cake. Who said flat abs
are in? Whoever said should have had a look at the duo after the
cake was circulated among the women.

South India’s
First Wedding Mall |
Hyderabad is up with many shopping malls that the allotment of
parking space for them has become a pain to the Traffic Police
Department. A new mall has been added to the elite list of shopping
malls in Hyderabad. This new shopping precinct is exclusively
for the wedding collection. The wedding mall is named ‘Kalanikethan
– Wedding Mall’. It is a magnificent shopping center
with trousseau clothing for all the age groups at a good price.
The complete wedding mall from jewellery to accessories to make-up,
cosmetics to gifts is Kalanikethan. Designer wear is the plus
point here. It is the first ever Wedding Mall in South India.

Degree–
3 or 4 |
Educational system in India seems to undergo many changes. Also,
the syllabus is been reviewed again and again. The aim of the
government here is to give the students the best education at
a reasonable price. In view with all this, the Education Ministry
is planning to extend the three-year degree course to a four-year
one. The decision making panel knew there would be people opposing
it, but terrible violence with strong protests is what shocked
them. Students opposed the new pattern of four-year degree course.
Numerous reasons backed their protests. This means that any change
in the education system can only be brought about with the consent
of the students. It seems to me that the student unions of the
state are actually doing some work now. Well, three-year or four-year
is still in a debate.

The Fests Season
Is In |
Its winter and the college fests in the twin cities are warming
up the atmosphere. In the past, fests consist merely of food stalls,
game stalls and some fun activities. Currently, college fests
are a way to rope in as much as money for the college. The fests
in the city are organized on a large scale with big MNC’s
and companies sponsoring the events. The MNC’s get the chance
to publicize their company in these youth festivals. Topmost colleges
of the city are busy conducting fests with loads of fun attached
to it. St. Mary’s Degree College, St. Francis Degree College,
Loyala Degree College are among the happening colleges in the
city. Lakhs of money, trendy themes, specially designed invitations
and brochures, DJs, attractive gifts is what the fests here are
loaded with. Not only company advertisement, interaction among
the youngsters of different colleges is a boon here. It looks
like the youngsters are actually painting the city of pearls red
with fun.

Shilpa Reddy,
a Bonfire |
After
a hot and busy shoot for the annual calendar of Kingfisher in
Australia, Shilpa Reddy is back sizzling in Hyderabad. In order
to share her adventurous experience, she along with her close
buddies had a bonfire party at her friend’s farmhouse. As
the bonfire warmed up the temperature, Shilpa went on chatting
about her first international shoot. A chic way of partying in
the wintry night, I must say. Guys, stop hosting Ladies Nights,
theme parties. Bonfires are in.

Adam & Eve
on a High |
Hyderabadi
people are trying new ways of having a party. Their heights of
creativity should be rewarded. In a happening pub of the city,
a fashion show was conducted. The theme for the show was ‘Adam
and Eve’. As erotic as they were, the fashion show also
rocked. After a stunning show, the crowd was all geared to party.
A good way of pulling the energy of the crowd high. Are the pub
owners listening?

‘Playboy’
Now for Indian Boys |
Surely, all of you have heard
of the Playboy magazine. It is one of the hottest selling magazines
among the men abroad. This hot cake will soon be launched in India
too. Christine Hefner, daughter of the founder of the magazine is
keen on introducing it in India. Though the magazine’s USP
is its nudity, this trademark will not be featured in the indianised
version of Playboy. The modified version will contain lifestyles,
fashion, celebrity news, pop culture, sports and in-depth interviews.
The name of the magazine would also be changed. Indian men get ready,
the ball is moving towards you this time. |
Gold is Gold
Honey! |
The gold price is again in news.
It is majorly discussed today because of the wedding season. The
hike in the price doesn’t seem to affect the people, at least
the Page 3 celebrities. Majority of them say, “There has always
been fluctuations in the price of the gold. One cannot stop buying
gold. The weddings are incomplete without gold shopping. Though,
they are people opting for diamonds, nothing can replace the yellow
metal”. It appears nothing can stop the hyderabadis from shopping.
Great going! |
Mithali, the
Unstoppable |
 Not
even a single day passes without mentioning people of Hyderabad
in news. Mithali Raj from Hyderabad has again brought laurels to
the country with the victory over England recently. This 21-year-old
hyderabadi girl is making mark ever since she has landed on the
pitch. Her debut itself was a phenomenal event. With loads of determination
and confidence to make it big, this young lady will make a mark
on the globe. We wish her all the very best. |
B&C and Jay
Sean Rocked |
One
of the popular pubs of the city that is, ‘Bottles &
Chimneys’ organized Jay Sean’s, a popular pop singer,
show on 4 December. Bottles & Chimneys is known for its rocking
shows and thus a huge crowd gathered at the pub. All geared to
dance to the tunes of rocking Jay Sean were disappointed by an
uncalled hitch. The luggage of the pop star was flown to Ahemadabad
instead of Hyderabad. All his equipments and CD’s were missing
when he landed in Hyderabad. So the crowd had to wait a bit long
for Jay Sean to create fire on the dance floor. But as soon as
the luggage was flown back to Hyderabad Jay Sean swayed the crowd
to his hit numbers ‘Dance with me’ and ‘Stolen’.
The question is do Ahemadabad and Hyderabad sound so similar?
What do u think guys? Was it an act to heighten the curiosity
of the crowd? You see as they say, “Late entry, Grand entry”.
On whole, the night was a smashing one.

DJ Piyush ka
Band |
DJ Piyush, the winner of the ‘War of DJ’s’
is a bakra now. Stop wondering! I mean this happening lad has
found his dream girl and has bid bye bye to his bachelor days.
The marriage ceremony was on the 4 December. Most of the DJ’s
turned out for the wedding in truly Hindustani style. Obviously
the night rocked with DJ Amit as one of the baraatis. While these
guys mix up east and west in their music, the wedding was purely
Indian. Can I see some females groaning at the bride?

 Nagarjuna
with Pritam is planning to come up with a discotheque in the city.
Everybody is excited about it and Nag is busy working towards this
new venture. In this winter season, the news of Nag’s discotheque
is the hot cake. Lets just wait and gear ourselves to rock and roll
in this new pub. Three cheers for Nag! |
