When Rajamouli was making Magadheera with Ram Charan Tej, he has many Tollywood biggies visiting the sets of Magadheera. One day, a mega producer Allu Aravind challenged Rajamouli on the sets of Magadheera saying that anyone can make blockbusters with stars, but a real director is the one who can deliver hits through comedian.

Rajamouli felt offended and took this heart and incidentally he met Sunil on the same sets after some time it seems. When Rajamouli saw Sunil, he remembered Allu Aravind's words and immediately he okayed Sunil for the script of Maryada Ramanna and delivered a hit.

After Maryada Ramanna, Rajamouli once again met Allu Aravind and this time the mega producer said that Sunil is a good artiste and a great performer and making a successful film with Sunil is not great. A miffed Rajamouli then decided to make movie with animals and prove. After some time, Rajamouli then decided to make a movie with Eega, which is currently under production. So guys, guess you might have understood as to why Rajamouli is making Eega.
