The story runs around three innocent stray kids who wander around things which are simple and common for the society, they have dreams of becoming something in their lives and to have a common lifestyle like attending school and becoming a cricket player, and then the life of these kids turns around when a person understands that its the responsibility of the society to take care of these children and help them realize their dreams.
This person, in the beginning, is just a common man, to whom nothing is more important than taking care of his family like most of us. Then one day on the occasion of Diwali an old man takes his grandchildren to the outskirts of the city to light the crackers, and then he comes across these stray kids when his grandchildren make him stop the car to get an ice cream, being moved by seeing the situation of these stray kids, he buys ice cream for them too and leaves .
When he reaches home, he goes to the terrace with his bottle of whiskey to have some private time. As he reaches there he sees his son along with his friends talking to each other casually.
As he tries to leave the place for themselves and let them have some good time, they insist on him to stay and say that there is nothing serious and they were just having some casual talk.
And as they talk casually about the topic moves towards some serious issues that the society is facing nowadays, especially in the perspective of kids, and when he listens to the incidents that his son and his friends speak of he understands that it is the responsibility of every person in the society to take care of kids as they are the future of this country.
He realizes and says that kids are like the stars that shine in the night sky, and most of the kids fade out because of the wrong perspective that parents and the society see them with, he realizes that IF EVERY LITTLE STAR SHINES THEN IT WILL REFLECT THE ENTIRE NATION.
He then goes back to those stray kids along with his son and his friends, takes those kids along with him and helps them live their dreams which every kid deserves to live.
