The creative director flew over to America to chisel out the best sequel for Pushpa 2. Sukumar is dissatisfied with the last version he prepared. As a result, he wants to surprise the audience even more with the second part's best ideas.

Pushpa 2's script has not yet been completed. Apart from the mass scenes, as Sukumar explained, he intended to portray Pushpa's emotional side and his bond with his mother. But, after seeing the success of the current blockbuster KGF Chapter 2, he wants to focus more on the mass elevations that helped Pushpa Part 1 become a huge success.

Sukumar fled to America to escape distractions and to write better ideas. Pushpa 1 is a box office success in India despite minimal promotion. Sukumar, on the other hand, is not leaving anything to chance for Pushpa 2 because the expectations for Part 2 are sky high.

This is the reason for the film's delay. Sukumar hopes to finish the script by the end of May, allowing him to complete the film in six months and release it in the summer of 2023.
