Rocking Star Yash's recent film, KGF 2, has earned rave reviews from both audiences and critics. The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, has set the box office on fire with its phenomenal first-day performance, thanks to great word of mouth.

At the Indian box office, the film has earned more than Rs 134.5 crores. KGF – Chapter 2 has made history by having the biggest first day ever. The Hindi version has grossed 53.95 crores at the box office, which is simply mind-boggling and out of this world. It outperformed straight-up Bollywood hits like War and Thugs of Hindostan. It also outnumbers KGF chapter 1's lifetime collections in a single day.

KGF Chapter 2 Telugu collections are comparable to those of a star hero. It has climbed to the forefront of the dubbing film industry, grossing around 31 crores.

Apart from KGF 2 and Beast, there are no major south releases this week, and given the latter's lukewarm reception for Beast, moviegoers' first choice would undoubtedly be the Kannada blockbuster.
