Salman khan joins Megastar Chiranjeevi Godfather Shoot.

Salman Khan will make his Telugu debut in Chiranjeevi's upcoming political action thriller, Godfather. Chiranjeevi has revealed that the superstar will appear in the film as a cameo. The film is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam thriller Lucifer, in which Mohanlal played the titular role. Salman has taken on the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran, playing a mercenary and Chiranjeevi's confidant. The superstar is also going to shake a leg with Chiranjeevi in a particular, gripping, and thematic number in this Mohan Raja film.

Confirming the news, Chiranjeevi tweeted a photo with Bhai along with a caption that read, "Welcome aboard #Godfather, Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan! Your entry has energized everyone & the excitement has gone to next level. Sharing screen with you is an absolute joy. Your presence will no doubt give that magical #KICK to the audience."

Godfather is a political action thriller, directed by Mohan Raja. The film is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company, Jayam Company and NVR Cinema LLP. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, Godfather features Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in important roles.

For the unfamiliar, Salman and Chiranjeevi's families have known each other for a long time. When Ram Charan made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with Zanjeer, Salman was there to support him and promote the film.
