Finally, Thalapathy Vijay's Beast will be released on April 13, 2022, only one day before KGF Chapter 2. With the possibility of a clash with KGF 2, Sun Pictures wisely sold its Telugu theatrical rights to Tollywood giants Dil Raju, Asian Suniel, and Suresh Babu, who can fill a huge number of theatres for Beast.

Beast Telugu theatrical rights were reported to have been sold for roughly 11 crores. Beast will be released in AP and Telangana on April 13th. Thalapathy Vijay's most recent Telugu films were box office smashes. Vijay has been gradually expanding his market in Telugu states.

Thalapathy Vijay's next film will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. Due to the universal appeal of the theme, the makers of Beast intend to release the film in Hindi as well.

Beast also stars Pooja Hegde and Selvaraghavan in lead roles; the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander; the film is produced by Sun Pictures; and the screenplay and direction are by Nelson Dhilipkumar.
