Satish Shah made a name for himself with films like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Ardh Satya, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Main Hoon Naa, and cult TV shows like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, and as host of Top 10. He passed away due to Kidney Failure at the age of 74. 


He was renowned for his ability to handle typical comical roles and even the emotional roles with equal prowess. His Sarabhai vs Sarabhai remains the most watched comedy show even on OTT era. His comical tune with Shah Rukh Khan has become highly popular in films like Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa, Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om. 


Even after 20 years, his comedy scenes in Main Hoon Naa and Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai get huge attention. Satish Shah being one of the rare talents that came along with Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Amrish Puri, he was highly respected for his acting skills and charm. 


Johnny Lever, Madhur Bhandarkar, Farah Khan, Karan Johar have mourned his passing away on social media. Many more celebrities have been sharing their dismay for losing such a comedic legend.
