Ram Charan known as Global Icon, has been named the first-ever brand ambassador for the Archery Premiere League (APL). His role in RRR as archer Alluri Seetha Rama Raju has been inspiration behind this move say association officials.

His portrayal of an archer in RRR made him the perfect choice to promote the sport. The APL hopes to train talented individuals for the 2028 Olympics and give them a platform to showcase their skills.

President of the Archery Association of India, Shri Arjun Munda, said, "The dream envisioned by us is the dream that has lived for many years in every young archer across India’s villages. Having Ram Charan as our Brand Ambassador further strengthens our mission, as his global influence will inspire countless young people to take an interest in archery."

Ram Charan expressed his hope that the league will give the sport of archery more recognition and help aspiring archers reach their full potential. The league will be held from 2nd to 12th October 2025 in Yamuna Sports Complex, New Delhi.
