Home  »  News  »  Rajamouli, Your Justification Sounds Absurd

Updated : Oct 19, 2015

Apparently Rajamouli has shared with IIT-Madras students that 'art' is all about copying and that way he feels his style of copying Hollywood scenes is justified. Well, in that case, we have to tell that Rajamouli hasn't got his basic right.

For example, an artists paints a 'Mona Lisa' painting of Leonardo Da Vinci to practice the work, but if he has to come up with a real masterpiece then he has to paint something original. If he paints 'Mona Lisa' and says, I'm doing this to show you Mona Lisa closer as the original painting is in Pairs museum, it's foolishness. Same is the case with Rajamouli. If he gets inspired from an artwork he could drew something else from it, but not replicate it as is.

Art is all about inspiration, copying to learn and creating new stuff. But Rajamouli still thinks art is all about copying. That's wrong Sir.
