Comedian Kallu Chidambaram breathed his last today in the morning. From a time, he is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Visakhapatnam for a prolonged illness. He is said to be on ventilator from last two months while film folks almost forgot him.

Entering into 'dramas' at the age of 12, Chidambaram started as a stage artist and moved to become a cinema actor with 1989 film 'Kallu', thereby making that film's title as his surname. He has won Nandi award for his first film itself. The 70 year old actor has acted in 300 films till date with many notable comedy acts. Kondaveeti Donga, Chanti, Govinda Govinda, Gangaputrulu and Mytri are some his notable films.

Born on October 10th, 1945, he's a huge asset for Telugu films in the 90s. teluguone.com expresses deep condolences to his family members.
