As we informed Pooja Hegde has been cast as the female lead in Puri Jagannadh's next pan-India entertainer Jana Gana Mana. She will star with Vijay Deverakonda, who will play an Army officer in the film.

Today the makers announced this news with a creative glimpse and the movie shoot also started today with Pooja Hegde. Vijay Devarakonda will join  the sets of JGM soon.

"Puri Jagannadh was eager to put Pooja in the role and has recently given narration. She liked both her role and the script and agreed to sign on the dotted line. She has allotted 45 days for the shoot, source."

Jana Gana Mana movie will be directed by Puri Jagannadh and it will be produced by Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally and Puri Jagannadh under the Puri Connects banner. 

The makers are determined to complete the full production by March 2023." This Pan-Indian movie will be made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages and will be released on 3rd August, 2023 in the theatres.
