Bollywood is not in a state to revive soon

The state of Hindi films is worsening by the day. Even big-budget films with huge anticipation are becoming disasters. Yash Raj Films released a trailer for Samrat Prithviraj, a film based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a few weeks ago.

Because of the title, the trailer garnered a negative response within minutes. But Akshay Kumar and his crew remained optimistic. The film also highlighted the Hindutva dimension and generated a lot of publicity. However, after the release the film got negative reviews, as expected. Many Bollywood critics have painted the film in a negative light.

After all, even Akshay's fans are unhappy. When it comes to collections, this is even worse. According to trade figures, the film did not earn almost Rs 10 crore on its opening day, putting it much below Akshay Kumar. Samrat Prithviraj will undoubtedly face box office rivalry as long as Major receives positive reviews. For this film, there is dead air in the south.

Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, and other well-known southern actors appear in the film. The movie has been released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
