Prabhas Salaar in Two parts confirmed?

In recent promotional interviews for Radhe Shyam Darling Prabhas revealed that the Salaar will be released in two parts, and that the makers will reveal more information about the project soon.

Everyone seems to cash on a film's popularity with a sequel. Many filmmakers have chosen to release their films in multiple parts since the phenomenal success of S.S. Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' franchise. While a few films have previously followed suit, Maniratnam's 'Ponniyan Selvan' has been planned in the 'Baahubali' style!

Following 'Baahubali,' 'KGF,' and subsequently Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa,' it was split into two halves. Going with the trend, Prabhas’s film is allegedly all prepared to release the film in two parts as ‘Salaar - 1’ and ‘Salaar -2’. The shoot of the second part kickstarts post the release of the first part and will release next year.

Salaar, according to Prasanth Neel, has all the ingredients to be split into two parts. If the first half of the film provides an introduction to the world of 'Salaar,' the second half will disclose the full world. The producers are expected to make an announcement soon.

Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the film, which is being produced by Vijay Kirgandur of Hombale Films and will be released in multiple languages simultaneously, including Telugu and Kannada. Bhuvan Gowda is the cinematographer for the film, and Ravi Basrur is composing the music. While Prabhas' most recent film, Radhe Shyam, directed by Radha Krisha Kumar, will be released worldwide on March 11th, 2022.
