Mega Prince Varun Tej’s highly anticipated Pan India debut Matka is progressing swiftly with its shoot. The end game begins, as the final schedule of the movie is underway with some key sequences being shot in RFC, Hyderabad. With this schedule, the film’s entire shooting part will be wrapped up.

Directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri under Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainment banners, Matka is the most costly and prestigious project for Varun Tej.

The film Matka is set against a period backdrop, and the story spans 24-year period, from 1958 to 1982. Varun Tej is fully immersed in his role, showcasing a range of looks that depict his character’s evolution from youth to old age. The latest poster features Tej in an elderly get-up, deep in thought while seated.
