Rana Daggubati has been absent from leading roles in Telugu cinema for a while, focusing instead on film production and the web series Rana Naidu. However, Rana Daggubati and director Teja once again collaborated after blockbuster Nene Raju Nene Mantri.

Makers announced this project officially on Rana's birthday. Rana released the film’s first look through his social media account on that day, where he was styled retroactively. Even though the poster itself has received several negative comments on social media, as the worst poster, the film was in pre-production for one year. 

We've exclusively learnt that this film is shelved due to creative differences between Teja and Rana. This film is not happening. We have to wait and see what will be the response from Rana Daggubati and Teja about it.

The actor is currently busy with Rana Naidu season 2 shoot. KGF Fame Srinidhi Shetty was locked to play female lead opposite Rana Daggubati. 

Rana is also exploring opportunities in a couple of other Telugu films, expanding his involvement in the industry. Moreover, Rana Daggubati is playing the lead antagonist in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan, scheduled for October 10th release.
