Ravi Mohan, more popularly known as Jayam Ravi, has established Ravi Mohan Studios to produce films continuously. He announced two projects - one in the direction of Karthik Yogi and he will direct the second one, featuring Yogi Babu. He invited all bigwigs to the launch event and Karthi, Sivakarthikeyan have attended it along with several others. 


Karthi stated that he knew Ravi from a long time but their bond became stronger with Ponniyin Selvan film. He announced on stage that Ravi narrated a script to him at a restaurant table and he is shocked listening to it. He stated that after Yogi Babu's film, Ravi will direct him and it will have even Ravi in leading role. 


Further Karthi praised Ravi's ability to understand the nuances of filmmaking like editing, cinematography which will be put to great use by him. He called him that he is like "Jim Carrey". Sivakarthikeyan praised Ravi's passion to become a producer and remarked that it had been a pleasure to work with him in Parasakthi. 


He stated that he is also a producer and he does know what kind of challenges, a person has to face while producing films. He remarked that Ravi Mohan had been planning for a long time about this giant leap in his career and he would wish all the success.
