Rishab Shetty, the National Award-winning actor, writer, and director of the pan-Indian hit Kantara: The Legend, is back with the highly anticipated prequel, Kantara: Chapter 1. The trailer, unveiled by superstar Prabhas, offers a glimpse into the mystical and epic world that captivated audiences nationwide.

The trailer dives deep into the origins of the forest and the sacred beliefs of its people. We see locals discovering a Shivalinga in a body of water, believing it to be a divine presence—the Pramadhaganas of Shiva who have descended to earth. This tranquil belief is shattered when an evil king seeks to destroy their homes and way of life.

The prequel promises a powerful tale of divine intervention and a mass uprising to establish good over evil. The trailer highlights Rishab Shetty's remarkable transformation and acting, as well as his stunning vision as a director. Hombale Films has spared no expense in bringing this period saga to life, with a lavish and captivating cinematic experience.

The trailer is masterfully edited, building intrigue and curiosity about the backstory of the legend. Its stunning visuals of an ancient tribal village, the awe-inspiring Guliga Deva in a blaze of fire, and thrilling action sequences hint at a must-watch theatrical experience. The film, which also stars the stunningly beautiful Rukhmini Vasanth, is set to release on October 2nd.
