Home  »  News  »  Jet Lee Glimpse: Satya Shines in this dark comedy

Updated : Jan 3, 2026

The powerhouse duo of actor Satya and writer-director Ritesh Rana—the minds behind the cult-favorite Mathu Vadalara series—are back with a new venture titled Jet Lee. Known for redefining Telugu cinema’s comedy landscape, the pair seems set to deliver another pop-culture phenomenon.

In this high-stakes "hilariocity," Satya takes center stage amidst a stressful hijack situation. The teaser introduces his character with a classic Vemana poem, cleverly highlighting his oblivious nature as he navigates a dangerous rescue mission. While Miss India Rhea Singha showcases impressive action prowess, the comedic heart of the glimpse lies in Satya’s dynamic with Vennela Kishore.

The standout moment features Satya humorously labeling himself a "general compartment hero," followed by a satirical, Jet Lee-inspired nunchuck sequence. This blend of stylized action and dry, sarcastic humor is a hallmark of Rana’s sophisticated directorial approach.

Produced on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainments, the project is currently in rapid production. With its unique core of dark humor and sharp presentation, the makers are confident that Jet Lee will provide a blockbuster cinematic experience.
