Updated : Aug 8, 2025

Coolie starring Superstar Rajinikanth, King Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj and Aamir Khan has set box office on huge fire in Kerala. The movie ticket sales have been opened in several single screens in Kerala. Audiences have rushed to ticket counters for their share of tickets.

The maddening rush has struck Internet like a huge storm. Scenes from the theatres, booking counters and the online advances have been a brilliant example for the craze of Superstar and Coolie. Looking at the rush, box office experts are in shock. While many thought there is sky-high hype for the film, this is beyond imagination.

Within hours of opening the bookings, the sales have crossed over Rs.2 crores and it is trending with 6.5K tickets sold per hour on BMS app. That too just from Kerala. Soon, Hindi and Telugu markets could open while Tamil theatres are announcing that from next week, they will open bookings.

Well, even though none of the cast members are young and happening, also, each one of them have been facing disasters but this kind of rush to see them all together cements the saying, "Legends are beyond recent box office results".
