For the first time ever, a girl from Mega compound took to acting. She is none other than Niharika Konidela. Buzz is always there whether Chiranjeevi has agreed for her film debut or not. It will not be a doubt anymore as Mega hero Varun Tej spills the beans.

Varun Tej stated that the decision of becoming a heroine was not taken overnight as it was there in Niharika's mind for a long time. "Niharika first discussed her plan with Peddananna and he told her to go ahead. As a brother, I fully support her and all my family members, too, are supporting her. Initially there was a lot of pressure from fans, but my father (Nagababu) told them that she wouldn’t hurt their feelings", said Varun Tej.

He adds that fans are very important and mega-family can't ignore their requests. "Fans are very important to us and they are part of our family. They are our backbone and we respect them", he says, adding, "My uncle (Chiru) has done many films just for the sake of fans though he didn't like the scripts. That shows how much important fans are".
