Updated : Nov 15, 2025

Boyapati Srinu, the director of many blockbuster action spectacles, made a formidable combination with Nandamuri Balakrishna. His style of presenting NBK has re-defined the star hero's image in entirety. With Simha, Legend and Akhanda, he created such an impact that it is difficult to imagine NBK on screen,  not in Boyapati style.

He has the distinction of presenting any actor to the heights of their action prowess and dynamically on big screens. Now, with Akhanda 2, he is bringing back NBK as Aghora but with even older get-up from the previous film. So, he took great care in presenting him with similar massy energy that people have accustomed to watch him.

Also, he planned meticulously by going to Georgia, Himalayas and different cold temperature locations to shoot tough action sequences. Even NBK praised him for completing this kind of a huge budget film in 130 days. Boyapati exclaimed the film as "India ka Athma" at the recent event in Mumbai.

He stated that Indian Vedas, Upanishaths, mythology, culture, tradition, history and Haindava Sanatana Dharma are important and such topics should be discussed in mainstream cinema with pride. He is promising another memorable film with NBK which will start double hat-trick for the combination.
