Akhil Akkineni starrer Agent gets official release date. The high octane action entertainer will hit the theatres on August 12, 2022. The makers of the film took to Twitter and shared a new poster to announce the official release date. Tweet reads "An Action Spectacle awaits you in theatres 😎 THE WILD ONE🤙🏻#AGENT⚡ Reporting in theatres from AUGUST 12th 2022 💥💥💥
#AGENTonAugust12 🔥". Makers also released a poster in which akhil looks dapper with Gun in his hand and the posture is so stylish. 

For the upcoming action thriller Agent, Akhil Akkineni has collaborated with stylish filmmaker Surender Reddy. The film has been the talk of the town since its inception as moviegoers can't keep calm to know what's in store for them.

'Agent' will be released in theatres on August 12. The Independence Day weekend was chosen as the release date as the film also patriotic elements in the story.   Surender Reddy is a stylish director who understands how to present his hero in a more stylish way on screen. Mammootty, a legendary Malayalam actor, plays a pivotal part. He recently joined the shoot. Sakshi Vaidya, a newcomer, is introduced as the heroine. The film is co-produced by Rambrahmam Sukankara and Surender Reddy.
