Telangana IT Minister KTR Kalvakuntla Taraka Ramarao made shocking comments on Prabhas' 'Adipurush' film. The Telangana government has a solid relationship with the heads of the Telugu film industry. KTR is also a frequent guest at pre-release events.

In a recent interview, KTR stated that even movies are being used as tools to serve the BJP's mission. As examples, the minister cited the 2019 Vicky Kaushal film Uri, Vivek Agnihotri's recent release The Kashmir Files, and the upcoming Prabhas film Adipurush. A portion of the Minister's interview in which he makes these remarks has gone viral on social media.

They will not directly finance those who must end up sponsoring such films.   Uri, Kashmir files, Adipurush, and so on. How come their periods are so similar? This is occurring because the BJP is attempting to make it happen," KTR says in the video.

KTR's shocking statements have enraged Prabhas fans and moviegoers.
