Ahmed Khan choreographed for films such as Rangeela, Taal, and Ghajini before becoming a director in 2004 with the movie Lakeer - Forbidden Lines starring John Abraham. Ahmed Khan escaped from death narrowly twice: once while shooting for his film at Twin Towers, just couple of days before the September 11 attacks; and the second time he canceled his reservation in the last minute at a hotel which was destroyed in the 2004 Tsunami attack.
