The Vijay Deverakonda next "VD 14," announced recently on actor's birthday. This period action drama, under the blockbuster banner of Mythri Movie Makers, is all set to explore an era rich in culture and turmoil. After blockbuster Taxiwala, Vijay is all set to collaborate with Rahul Sankrityan.

The team behind this historical backdrop action drama completed the pre production work. The film will roll in October or November. It will be shot in Hyderabad, Kurnool, Anantapur and YSR district in Andhra Pradesh.

Set in colonial India, it will tread a point that no Indian film has touched before. The film is not against any freedom struggle. It will show authentic rayalaseema emotions. Vijay Deverakonda's look will stun the audience. Vijay Deverakonda needs a solid hit and he is working on his next film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and the film is an action drama.

Vijay Deverakonda has allocated bulk dates for the film and he will be presented in a new light. Rumors say that Rashmika Mandanna is roped in as the leading lady and an official confirmation is awaited.

Rahul Sankrityan has worked on the script for two years and this is the second collaboration of Vijay Deverakonda and Rahul after Taxiwaala. Vijay Deverakonda also gave his nod for a rural entertainer to be directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and Dil Raju is the producer of this untitled film. The shoot starts next year.
