Saif Ali Khan, Bollywood actor, got stabbed on 16th January, in the early hours and he got operated on his spinal cord. Lilavathi hospital surgeons have removed a 3-inch knife blade from his back as well. As the actor returned to her residence, now, Mumbai Police are investigating into the angle of Kareena stabbing Saif. 

Police have conducted re-construction to understand what happened on the night. Statements of Kareena Kapoor on the day of attack and at re-construction have been different suggest reports. Also, the house-maid's statements do not correlate with Kareena's statements as well. 

On top of that, Kareena not accompanying Saif to hospital and she getting up late and going to hospital in a casual manner did not sit well with police. So, they are investigating if Kareena planted a person to kill her husband or if she stabbed him, herself. 

Police did not confirm this report explicitly and they have stated that they are conducting investigation in all possible angles while initial reports suggest that an intruder attempted burgarly in Saif's Bandra residence and the actor got stabbed by him, trying to protect their maid from his attack.
