Dasara Non Theatrical Business done for Whopping amount?
Updated : Jul 13, 2022
Dasara is the latest film from natural star Nani. Keerthy Suresh plays the heroine in this film directed by Srikanth Odela. While there were rumours that the film's shooting had been halted for a few days, the crew has confirmed that this is not the case. Recently, they began filming on a massive set in Hyderabad. It stars the major characters. Meanwhile, there is word that crazy business deals are in the works for this film.
This film received massive Rs. 47 crore offer for non theatrical business through all platforms (OTT, Hindi, and satellite). This appears to have been accepted by the producers. Agreements are also completed. In fact, the producer will be brave if this film is done for less than Rs.50 crores. Whatever revenue the theatre receives will be converted into profits. However, it has been claimed that the budget of the 'Dussehra' film is rising by the day. For one song, 500 junior artists were brought in.
More than two crores seem to have been spent on this. There will also be a large action scene in the film. It cost more than a crore rupees to build. There will be no profit if you spend like this, regardless of how much money you make from non-theatrical business. The number of individuals visiting theatres has recently decreased.
Keeping this in mind, it is preferable to keep production costs under control. Otherwise, losses will occur. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Music by Santosh Narayanan.
