Updated : May 15, 2022
It is well known that Udayanidhi Stalin, the son of Tamil Nadu CM Stalin, was once a hero. After that he stayed away from films for a few years due to elections and contested in the last assembly elections and won as an MLA.
Udayanidhi Stalin also introduced the Telugu audience to the Telugu dubbed movie 'Ok Ok'. The Tamil film 'Nenjuku Needhi', currently starring Udayanidhi Stalin, is set to release on May 20.
The film opens as a remake of the Bollywood hit movie 'Article 15'. Udayanidhi Stalin told shocking news in an interview given as part of the film's promotions. Currently Udayanidhi is making a film called 'Mamannan' under the direction of Mari Selvaraj. Keerthy Suresh will play the heroine while Fahad Fassil will play the lead role.
Speaking in an interview, Udayanidhi said that his last film is going to be 'Mamannan' starring himself. He said that he was making this decision because he could not balance both movies and politics and that his life was for the people in the footsteps of his father.
However, there were reports that CM Stalin was also planning to include Udayanidhi in the cabinet. According to Tamil cinema and political sources, if Stalin is a minister then it will be more difficult to make films so he has decided to stop films in advance.
