The Loss Due to Kajal Role Removal in Acharya
Updated : Jul 14, 2022
It is well known that the box office performance of the Koratala Siva-directed Acharya film, which starred Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, fell short of expectations. Initially, Kajal Aggarwal was selected to play Chiranjeevi's partner in this movie, but for a variety of reasons, Kajal was later dropped from the project. However, it appears that the absence of Kajal from the film came as a huge shock to Koratala Siva.
It is noteworthy to mention that the well-known entertainment channel Acharya has acquired the South language rights for a significant sum of money and has reduced the amount by two and a half crore rupees due to Kajal's removal from Acharya's film and by five crore rupees by declaring that they do not want the rights of languages other than Telugu. In this sense, it can be said that Koratala Siva is shocked by the seven and a half crore rupee drop in income.
According to the comments, Koratala Siva's management of Acharya's film business affairs is what led to this situation. In Koratala Siva's office, buyers and exhibitors who recently purchased Acharya's ceded rights caused a commotion. According to reports, Koratala Shiva gave them 6 crore rupees. Koratala Siva only made up 40% of the losses incurred by Acharya's ceded buyers, who lost 15 crore rupees.
