Thangalaan Day 1 collections: Chiyaan Vikram film North India release on?

"Thangalaan" is a period action film starring Chiyaan Vikram as the lead. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film is produced by prominent producer KE Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green Films banner, in association with Neelam Productions.

Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan play the female leads. Set against the backdrop of the Kolar Gold Fields, "Thangalaan" is based on real events and released worldwide in theatres yesterday. Mythri Movie Distribution handled the Telugu release.

The film received mixed talk from both Telugu and Tamil. Even with the average talk, the film collected massive 26 crores at box office. Everyone lauding Pa Ranjith's storytelling, Chiyaan Vikram and Parvathy Thiruvothu award winning performances.

The film will have it's grand theatrical release in North India on August 30th.
