Academy Award Winner AR Rahman is perceptibly one of the top composers in the globe. He was once a prime choice for star actors and filmmakers in India. However, Rahman opted to enter Hollywood. And ever since he started working for English movies, he has been focusing less on Indian movies.

Veteran filmmakers like Yash Chopra used to sleep in living room of Rahman house, for musical output from the maestro. Many films got delayed due to delay in songs and BGM composition. Except for Mani Ratnam and few other filmmakers, Rahman hardly signs Indian movies and delays in giving outputs to the films.

Coming to the actual point, AR Rahman is finalized to compose music for megastar Chiranjeevi’s most ambitious project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, biopic of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

Since Rahman couldn’t allot time, director Surender Reddy and hero Ram Charan who’s bankrolling the project have roped in SS Thaman to compose BGM for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy motion poster. Response for the motion poster was immense and many appreciated Thaman for his stupendous work. Few even insisted that, Thaman should have given the opportunity to work for the film.

It’s for sure that, Rahman will delay in rendering songs and composing BGM which it may cause delay in release of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Of late, Rahman is not putting maximum efforts for Indian movies. No audio album composed by Rahman in recent times was a chartbuster. Thus, considering all these factors, AR Rahman is a bad choice for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
