Last year, the trend of South movies continued at the Indian box office. The entire Bollywood industry was shocked by the massive blow of South movies. If a film is coming from the South, then Bollywood films take a gap of at least two or three weeks till the release.

It is clear how the dominance of South films was last year. Starting from last year's movie 'RRR', many South movies like 'KGF 2', 'Kartikeya 2', 'Kantara' competed with Hindi movies and won big there. In fact, from the Pushpa movie itself, the air of south movies in Hindi continued.

Recently, South movies have shown their strength on North television as well. The trend of South Indian dubbing movies continued in the recently released top TV premiere ratings.

South movies occupied the first three positions in the top-5 of the latest released list. In the first place is 'RRR' directed by the legendary director Rajamouli. In the second place is the creative genius Sukumar's 'Pushpa'. On the third place is 'KGF-2' directed by Prasanth Neel. It is remarkable that there are South films in three positions in a row.

Hindi movies 'Suryavamshi' and 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' are in the next positions. The films 'Kartikeya 2' and 'Radhe Shyam' have made it to the top 10 list. Not only on the big screen but also on the small screen, the South movies have rang the victory bell in the North.
