Shaakuntalam trailer impresses with the magical visuals and love tale

The makers of Samantha’s Shaakuntalam gave the release date as February 17 recently, which thrilled all the fans. Samantha scored a hit with Yashoda and is looking to continue the impetus with Shaakuntalam. Today makers delighted everyone by unveiling the trailer.

The trailer offers fleeting glimpses of the characters, accompanied by powerful voiceover, lets us in on Gunasekhar’s aesthetic universe of Shaakuntalam. Samanatha introduction with butterflies skips everyone heartbeat.

Her grace in walking and diction in the Telugu dialogues astounds everyone. She revealed it was one of toughest parts of the role to act gracefully which was not really her thing. The trailer promises a whimsical love tale with high VFX, storyline and visuals.

Nearly 3-minute trailer, introduces the fantasy love story between Shakuntala, the daughter of Menaka and Vishwamitra, and King Dushyant. Her struggle to meet King Dushyant, the love of her life and also the problems she faced were shown in the trailer.

After becoming pregnant, she ultimately discovers that his love King Dushyant betrayed her. In the end, the war visuals with thumping score raises curiosity. Allu Arha's entry on the lion astounds everyone.

Shaakuntalam is based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa's Sanskrit play 'Abhijnana Shakuntalam.' This prestigious project has its music composed by Mani Sharma. The ensemble star cast includes Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Bala, Gautami and many other notable actors. Produced by Neelima Guna and presented by Dilraju. The film is bankrolled under Gunaa Teamworks in collaboration with Sri Venkateswara Creations.
