An X user shared the video and wrote, "There is an urgent need for a legal and regulatory framework to deal with deepfake in India. He further shared the original video where the face suddenly changes to Rashmika’s. Netizens penned their views in the comments section to the AI-generated video.

Amitabh Bachchan, who worked with Rashmika for the movie ‘Goodbye’, also commented stating it is a fake video and wrote, "yes this is a strong case for legal". One of the netizens shared both the original and fake videos placed side by side to make it easier for everyone to spot the difference.
