President Draupadi Murmu had conferred Ajith Kumar with Padma Bhushan award and afterwards her office lauded Ajith Kumar's contributions in the field of art. They have also recognised his contribution Indian Motorsports - mainly racing and his charitable activites. 

After conferring Ajith with Padma Bhushan, the president office tweeted, "President Droupadi Murmu presents Padma Bhushan in the field of Art to Shri S. Ajith Kumar. He is a towering figure in Indian cinema, particularly in the Tamil film industry. His ability to portray a wide spectrum of characters has cemented his reputation as one of the most versatile actors in the industry. His influence stretches far beyond the confines of cinema. He is involved in charitable activities, lending support to various causes without seeking public attention." 

The actor is one of the biggest stars of Indian Cinema and many people talk about how he treats his family members, staff and co-workers with great respect. He limited his public appearances but on race fields he has been giving interviews and his racing team finished in podium positions in three races in their debut year.
