Prabhas and Anushka Shetty to come together for Maruthi's next

Prabhas has been reported to be working on a comedy film with filmmaker Maruthi for quite some time. While it is expected that the film would be officially launched on April 10 at Rama Naidu Studios, recent sources indicate that the directors had approached Anushka Shetty for the female lead.

Yes, it has been reported that after Billa, Mirchi, and the Baahubali franchise, Anushka Shetty and Prabhas will return for Maruthi's comic-caper. If these reports are true, it will be a treat for Prabhas and Anushka fans, who have been expressing their desire to see them together again on the big screen on social media. While the duo's rumoured relationship has long made news, both individuals have always stated that they are good friends.

On the professional front, Anushka Shetty will next be seen in an untitled film alongside Naveen Polishetty of Chhichhore and Jathi Ratnalu fame, which will be directed by Mahesh Babu P. and produced by UV Creations.
Prabhas, on the other hand, is busy with Salaar, directed by KGF, and KGF 2, helmer Prashanth Neel. Hombale Films is in charge of production. Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu also play important parts in the film. Ravi Basrur composed the soundtrack for the film, and Bhuvan Gowda was in charge of the cinematography. The action-thriller will be released in Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, in addition to its original languages of Telugu and Kannada.
