Pan India star Prabhas' film Adipurush has good expectations when it was announced and the team killed the buzz with each update. Directed by Om Raut, this film is based on Ramayana. The film which was planned to release in June 16, 2023 is currently busy with the VFX work.

Usually, the makers of big films like these sell the overseas theatrical rights of their films to top distribution houses. But that’s not the case with Prabhas’s big budget Adipurush. It's because of negative response for the teaser.

Now the latest update is that team is going for own release in the overseas markets. The makers releasing the film on their own with a private distribution company assisting them in the process.

T series, the producers of Adipurush will pay token commission to the distribution company for expediting the process. But they haven’t sell the rights to anyone. So, the overseas theatrical revenues will primarily go to the producers of the film.

It remains to be seen how makers will turn around all the negativity surrounding the film. In this movie, Kriti Sanon plays the role of Sita, Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Ravana, and Sunny Singh plays the role of Laxman. Bhushan Kumar of T Series bankrolled this project.
