The much awaited National thriller SPY featuring Nikhil and Iswarya Menon in the lead roles, is up for a grand release next Friday. Time and again, the makers have stated that the movie deals with the death mystery of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Today the trailer launch event took place at AAA Cinemas, Hyderabad.

 

A reporter asked Nikhil if the team had touched upon the political conspiracies surrounding Netaji’s death in the movie. Nikhil stated that there would be many variations to the truth. Nikhil made it clear that they are being apolitical and added that they are just stating the facts without taking any sides.

 

Nikhil said their team is leaving it up to the audience to have their perceptions regarding this. When asked if he would continue doing PAN Indian films, Nikhil said, “Only films that have universal appeal will release in multiple languages.” Nikhil cited the example of 18 Pages which was just released in Telugu.
