For the last three films like Swamy Ra Ra, Karthikeya and Surya Vs Surya, high octane content mixed with his subtle performance has saved his face. Shankarabaranam is however a different game, as it has commercial content all over hero has to carry the film with his own talents. This is where Nikhil failed miserably as he can't pull the film enough in front of talented comedians like 30 years Prithvi and others. He got caught and bowled in the nets itself.

Talk about his latest movie under VI Anand, director Murugadoss' associate whose debut flick "Tiger" hadn't done well at box office, Nikhil will romance 3 heroines in this film. Already Avika Gor and Hebah Patel are officially signed and Catherine Thresa will sign the dotted line in a day or two. Now the question is, will Nikhil prove himself yet again in front of these actresses? Avika is a proven performer while Hebah can do the magic with her charms. Catherine can dominate any hero with her glamour no matter what the scene is. Nikhil should play a safe game otherwise he might go dumb in front of them.
