Anil Sharma's "Gadar 2" reigns supreme at the box office, with an impressive domestic collection exceeding Rs 480 crore. Even after 20 days of its release, the sequel to the Sunny Deol-Ameesha Patel period drama continues to draw large audiences.

In a recent interview, the film's director, Anil Sharma, discussed about the film and revealed an young actor in the latest generation who could play much loved Tara Singh role in the film Gadar.

During the interview, interviewer asked that who could play Tara singh in Gadar from the current young actors? The director without any doubt revealed that he see no one who could match Sunny Deol in Tara Singh role from Bollywood.

He added, "From south, NTR Jaisa koi banda play kar sakta hai Tara Singh." He said that from south brilliant actor like Jr NTR only can play the character. This is a huge compliment to NTR coming from the all time Industry Hit director Anil Sharma.

As senior director Anil Sharma said NTR would be perfect apt for the India's most loved character Tara Singh, who won every heart with his roaring voice, innocent yet fearless act. NTR is busy shooting for his next Devara which is set to release on April 5th 2024.
