No Buzz for Megastar's Acharya
Updated : Apr 19, 2022
Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva and starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, has remained inert for three years. The film will ultimately be released in cinemas on April 29. It has a variety of specialities. This is the first time in a long time that a father and son have been on screen together.
Kajal co-stars with Chiranjeevi, and Pooja Hegde co-stars with Ram Charan. The antagonist is played by Sonu Sood. Koratala Siva coming after four years.
Despite this stellar cast, Acharya failed to pique the audience's interest. The recent trailer and songs have been well received, but the celebrations do not match those of a star hero. There is Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who has recently gained nationwide recognition with RRR, and demi god Megastar Chiranjeevi, whose presence is enough to fill the theatres with families, yet their charisma does not appear to be functioning here.
Due to frequent postponements and mediocre trailers, songs, the audience isn't particularly interested in Acharya. If it is released before RRR, it may generate a lot of attention because RRR made everyone wish for spectacular visuals and master storytelling, which are not achievable for every film.
We'll simply have to wait and watch how Acharya manages to get audiences into theatres.
