Lokesh Kanagaraj has become a huge director with each of his film becoming a success at the box office. Mainly, Kaithi and Vikram have been instrumental in him becoming such a crazy director in India. He even initiated LCU - Lokesh Cinematic Universe as both the films have been memorable classics.

Now, the director has worked with Rajinikanth, King Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir for Coolie. The movie has crossed Rs.500 crores mark globally in collections but did not live up to Rs.1000 crores estimation. Well, Lokesh supported it by stating his job is to direct a film and box office is for producers.

He recently watched the film in theatre with audiences. While it received mixed reception, collections wise the movie saved Sun Pictures without losses. Well, at an interaction with students he stated that being able to tell a story as you've envisioned on big screens is success, in itself and not box office numbers.

Lokesh interestingly remarked that he might not work with any other composer in future other than Anirudh Ravichander. Kaithi film music composer is Sam CS and with this statement several fans are worried if Lokesh is not in plans to work on Kaithi 2. He remarked that he might use AI, if Ani is retired.

Well, if he developed such a great bond with Anirudh, then Kaithi 2 soundtrack might be composed by the composer, too. The discussions about the film are going on and Lokesh did not talk about his future projects. We have to wait and see, if he will make a Kamal-Rajini film or Kaithi 2 as his next.
