It is known that Maverick filmmaker Shankar Shanmugham is simultaneously working for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s Game Changer. According to the industry buzz, Indian 2 will hit the silver screens first.

To delight Shankar and Kamal Haasan fans, we have exclusive news about the film's release date. The latest report is that the Lyca Productions is planning to release Indian 2 in May 2024.

Surprisingly, Kamal Haasan starrer another film Kalki 2898AD is also coming in May. The makers recently responded on postponement news and confirmed that Prabhas starrer Kalki will be releasing in theatres on May 9th.

Indian 2 most likely release in last of week of May. The team want to cash the summer holidays even though the Lok Sabha elections will effect the collections. The official announcement with poster is expected soon.

Indian (1996) was an industry hit in Kollywood, and it also brought a National Award for Kamal Haasan. The movie was released as Bharatheeyudu in Telugu, and it was a blockbuster here too.

There is solid hype around Indian 2 in Tamil and Telugu. The PAN Indian film features Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, and Nedumudi Venu are essaying key roles in this vigilante action thriller.
