This Diwali, Ajith's latest movie "Vedhalam" has became a smashing hit at Tamil box office. The movie collected nearly 45 crores 'share' in its long weekend from Tuesday to Sunday. While the film is a regular storyline, the way director conceived it has been terrific.

Meanwhile, discussions are happening that Jr NTR is trying to remake this film in Telugu for its sister sentiment storyline. "Vedhalam" is directed by Siva in Tamil, who has earlier made Souryam and Veera in Tollywood. We have to see if Jr NTR will really pick the film and the director too, or just he watched the film the other day only out of excitement.

Earlier Jr NTR was supposed to do remakes of both Katthhi and Jilla, but he rejected having such thoughts.
