Jack starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and written & directed by "Bommarillu" Bhaskar after a short gap, released today with a huge fanfare. The movie trailers and songs did create good enough buzz for the film. Let's talk about the movie, in detail.
Plot:
Pablo Niruda (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) wants to become a R & AW agent and he takes a name, Jack. He tries to intervene into big missions without proper training. He writes the exam and go to R & AW interview. Before he gets any answer, he starts his own Mission Butterfly. He tries to solve a huge terrorist plan but ends up intervening officer Manoj (Prakash Raj) plans. What happens next? Watch the movie to know more.
Analysis:
Siddhu Jonnalagadda is good within his character scope and he tried to infuse life into every scene, he is in. But his character lacked any sort of connective emotion and intelligence that is promised by the makers. His energetic antics and dialogue delivery salvages few scenes.
Vaishnavi Chaitanya did not get a consistent character but she is good in few scenes. Prakash Raj did his best to deliver in an inconsistent film with his passion. But others like Naresh and Brahmaji disappoint us.
Bommarillu Bhaskar failed to really live up to the good storyline he took on. He tried to write it like a Sherlock Holmes film but he couldn't really get the tone right. The film struggles to even deliver on the character continuity.
The music and every aspect are also underwhelming to even talk about. Overall, the movie is a complete misfire with every element not living up to the potential.
In Conclusion:
Movie falls flat and fails to deliver on potential.
Rating: 2/5
